Land based Jawns Block party at Awbury Arboretum

I’m so happy to have been invited to give to wildfood walks as part of Land based Jawns Blockparty.

Join us outside as we explore safety & self-defense, gardening, carpentry, and herbalism with a diverse group of educators. Feel free to bring your family, kids, and neighbors along. This hands-on experience is open to all who are interested in learning the skills inspired by Octavia Butler's Parables. We will be offering condensed versions of our skillshare workshops, such as: what essentials to pack in your go/grow bag, DIY bug spray, setting up a tent, identifying edible wild plants, building raised beds, practicing meditation, and self-defense techniques.

No registration is required. Webelieve in healing, liberation, and safety through community, so come join us to develop new skills together.
