About the event

Even in the city there are many spaces you can find wild edibles and medicinals. For urban dwellers it's important to know where these plants are located and how access them. And service berries and Mulberry are coming into season so it's always good to know good places to harvest them. We'll start where the trail begins, where ( Delaware Ave) . Then we'll proceed around the edges of the path working our way down the pier.

The terrain is flat, but you should be able to walk/stand for 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Please no Dogs!

The nature of the walk is stop and start; talking a lot about the plants that we see and in many cases plants are just a few steps away from each other and not conducive to pets expecting a longer walk, not a few steps.

This tour is also not designed for children.
